High Reach Pantograph
High Reach Pantograph is a device for collecting current for electric vehicle of rail transportation from an overhead line system. It is a simple structure, safe and reliable performance and easy to maintain.
This type of pantograph has excellent aerodynamic performance within the vehicle speed range, including at nominal maximum headwind speed, to ensure the excellent contact status and stability with the overhead contact system at different rail conditions. High Reach Pantograph Type SAB03 is applied to mainline rails with working speeds up to 250Km/h.
This pantograph is also installed with Automatic Drop Down system (ADD). When failure of the pantograph occurs on a running vehicle, it will trigger the ADD system; the pantograph will drop down faster than 1m/s no matter what height it is on, and protect the pantograph and contact lines effectively.
